How to price your list
- Flat-rate the common jobs (water heater, toilet, faucet, drain cleaning) so customers can say yes on the spot, and keep an hourly rate for leaks and troubleshooting.
- Separate the fixture from the labor when the customer may buy their own, and say whose warranty covers what.
- Add a line for code items that often come with a job, like an expansion tank or a new shut-off valve, so they are not a surprise.
- Price after-hours and emergency calls as their own line instead of quietly raising every price.

Questions
Why are there no prices?
On purpose. Labor rates and markups change from city to city and shop to shop, and a list with someone else's prices is how jobs get underpriced. The items and units are a starting point; the prices are yours.
Does it work with Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. The download is a CSV file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, and imports straight into FieldDraft.
Where is my list saved?
Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to us. Download the CSV to keep a copy.
