How to price your list
- Set a minimum: a trip charge or a minimum job price keeps a 10-minute fix from costing you money once you count the drive.
- Use flat prices for the jobs you do every week (hang a door, mount a TV, swap a toilet) and an hourly rate for everything else.
- Say who buys the materials. Write "labor only, customer supplies" or add the part as its own line.
- Bundle a punch list into one visit: customers like one price for several small jobs, and you save trips.
Next time, quote it by voice.
FieldDraft turns a voice note and a photo from the job site into this kind of quote, priced only from your own list, and sends it to your customer to accept online. Import the CSV you just downloaded in Price book → Import a spreadsheet.
Questions
Why are there no prices?
On purpose. Labor rates and markups change from city to city and shop to shop, and a list with someone else's prices is how jobs get underpriced. The items and units are a starting point; the prices are yours.
Does it work with Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. The download is a CSV file that opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, and imports straight into FieldDraft.
Where is my list saved?
Only in this browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to us. Download the CSV to keep a copy.
