FieldDraft + QuickBooks Online
Estimates in QuickBooks,
drafted on site.
Say what the job needs, in English or Spanish, and snap a photo. FieldDraft builds the estimate from your own QuickBooks products and services, flags anything it can’t match instead of guessing a price, and creates the estimate in QuickBooks Online for you to review and send.

How it works with QuickBooks
Connect once, then estimate from the job site.
- 1
Connect QuickBooks
In FieldDraft Settings, sign in with Intuit and choose your company. Your products and services become your price book.
- 2
Say the job
Record a voice note or type it, add photos. Each line is matched to one of your QuickBooks items with the right quantity. No match? The line is flagged for you to price.
- 3
Create the estimate
One tap creates the estimate in QuickBooks Online on the right customer, with each line marked taxable or not so QuickBooks works out the sales tax. Review it and send it from QuickBooks.
What FieldDraft reads and writes
Only what an estimate needs, only when you ask.
- Reads your active products and services (names, descriptions, prices, taxable) to build your price book.
- Reads your company’s country, to handle sales tax the right way.
- Looks up the customer by name or email when you create an estimate, so an existing customer is reused.
- Creates a customer only when they’re new, and the estimate itself, only when you tap the button. Lines you priced by hand go on one item named “FieldDraft custom item”, created the first time it’s needed under an income account you already have.
- Never reads or changes invoices, payments, bills or reports.
- Disconnect any time in FieldDraft Settings; the connection tokens are deleted. Estimates already in QuickBooks stay there.
Questions
Will it make up prices?
Never. Every price comes from your QuickBooks products and services. A line that matches nothing is left unpriced and flagged so you can price it.
How is sales tax handled?
For US companies, FieldDraft marks each line taxable or non-taxable and QuickBooks calculates the tax from the job address, as it does for estimates you create yourself. Elsewhere, lines from your price book keep each item’s own tax code.
Can my crew talk in Spanish?
Yes. Voice notes can be in Spanish, English or a mix, and the estimate is written in the language you choose in Settings.
What does it cost?
14 days free, then one price per business with no per-user fees. See pricing. Your QuickBooks subscription is billed by Intuit as usual.
I disconnected FieldDraft from QuickBooks. What now?
