# FieldDraft

> FieldDraft is a quoting app for trades and home-service contractors (electricians, plumbers, HVAC, handymen, painters, roofers and more). The contractor says or types what the job needs, in English or Spanish, adds photos, and FieldDraft drafts an itemized quote priced only from the contractor's own price book. Lines it can't match are flagged for the contractor to price; it never guesses a price.

## What it does
- Drafts quotes from a voice note, typed notes or job-site photos, using the contractor's own items and prices.
- Price book: typed in, imported from a spreadsheet (CSV), scanned from a photo or PDF of a price list or old invoice (every row reviewed before saving), or synced from Jobber or QuickBooks Online.
- Per-unit pricing: each, per foot, per hour, per day, per square foot, per roofing square, per cubic yard, or flat.
- Good/better/best options and optional add-ons the customer can tick.
- Customer quote link: the customer reviews, picks options and accepts with a typed-name signature; optional card deposit (Stripe) and an optional financing estimate; up to two automatic follow-up emails.
- Spanish: voice notes in Spanish or English; quotes, the customer's quote page and quote emails in Spanish when chosen. The app's own screens are in English.
- Pushes quotes to Jobber (as a Jobber quote) and QuickBooks Online (as an estimate). Housecall Pro and JobNimbus connections (with the contractor's own API key) are in beta.
- Works inside Claude as a connector in Claude's directory, and is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.fielddraftapp/fielddraft (remote server https://fielddraftapp.com/mcp). A ChatGPT app is in OpenAI's review.
